aliAs we celebrate Mother’s Day this year, I find myself reflecting once again on the beauty, complexity, and deep joy of motherhood – and the incredible community that holds us all.

As a mother to Albert, Elsie, Rupert and Louis, I continue to feel overwhelmingly grateful for the privilege of raising our little people – and for the support, encouragement and love that surrounds us every step of the way. It truly does take a village, and today is a moment to celebrate that village in all its forms.

To every mother and maternal figure – grandmothers, aunties, carers, friends, mums and dads walking dual roles – your love makes the world gentler, stronger, and more beautiful. And to those who show up in quiet, powerful ways to help raise and love our little ones – thank you. You matter more than you know.

To those who are grieving, missing someone, or hoping for their own journey to begin, I see you and send my deepest love and light.

However you’re spending today, may it be filled with warmth, connection, and the knowledge that you are deeply appreciated.
