THE ART OF BEAUTIFUL GIFTING
Bespoke Letterpress is a luxury stationery and lifestyle brand, dedicated to designing and producing the finest quality paper goods and products that evoke joy and bring beauty to every occasion.
Founded by Alischa Herrmann in 2007, a graphic designer who fell in love with the long-lost craft of letterpress printing. With passion and dedication, she lovingly restored an antique 1893 Chandler and Price printing press named ‘Charlie’, and Bespoke Letterpress was born. Operating under her house by the sea north of Brisbane, Alischa initially designed and hand-printed wedding invitations, quickly capturing attention with her sophisticated and elegant aesthetic. Demand for the letterpress creations grew, so Alischa introduced a stationery range that celebrated gifting and could be enjoyed by people every day.
As the business continued to thrive, Alischa and her husband relocated to Bowral, set amongst the rolling hills of the Southern Highlands. A new chapter began, as Alischa journeyed into motherhood while also nurturing the business into an internationally recognised brand. As Bespoke Letterpress continued to evolve, Alisha’s creative vision and distinctive design style remained at the heart of the brand, combining beautifully crafted typography and whimsical illustrations with exquisite print craftsmanship.
Now a mother to four gorgeous children, Alischa's creativity has continued to flourish, leading to the introduction of elevated design products like journals, puzzles, linen tea towels, tablecloths and a collaboration with Milton & King to launch an acclaimed wallpaper collection.
The Bespoke difference
We print the old fashioned way, using antique cast iron machines and printing on luxuriously thick paper and quality 100% linen, perfected over the years and made with love. Bespoke Letterpress is also committed to sustainability, sourcing environmentally friendly materials that are both recycled and recyclable.

Meet Alischa Herrmann
FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Bespoke Letterpress has always been about doing what I love. I never set out to create a company, open stores and sell around the world - for me it was the creative freedom to design intuitively and share my passion for the beautiful craft of letterpress printing.
I am so grateful for how far Bespoke Letterpress has come, and that so many people feel inspired by the products we lovingly design and produce here in the Southern Highlands.
This journey hasn’t always been easy, but I feel immense joy that I’ve been able to balance motherhood, alongside running a thriving business (coffee helps!) and a husband that regularly travels for work as a pilot. My children are a constant source of inspiration, and I hope that my story will inspire them to pursue their dreams and embrace hard work and determination.
One of the most fulfilling aspects of this business has been the opportunity to showcase talented illustrators and elevate their designs using Bespoke’s craftsman print techniques. Working with both Australian and international artists, we collaborate to create artworks and bring their stunning designs to life through curated product collections that customers fall in love with, time and time again.
