Every Detail Counts: The Story of Our Eco-Friendly Sticky Dots

At Bespoke Letterpress, we believe that every detail matters. This is more than just a commitment to creating beautiful, luxurious stationery – it’s a promise to be thoughtful stewards of the planet we all call home. Our journey to find sustainable packaging solutions for our Enamel Products products has led us to a material we’re particularly proud of: eco-friendly sticky dots. But like all meaningful changes, this choice comes with a little sacrifice and a bit of extra work

Choosing Sustainability, Even When It Takes a Little Extra Effort

In our commitment to sourcing eco-safe materials, we knew we wanted our packaging to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Standard adhesive dots often contain chemicals that aren’t ideal for the environment or for use on special items. Instead, we chose sticky dots that meet strict European REACH and SVHC standards for chemical safety – not only eco-friendly and biodegradable, but also safe enough for children’s products.

However, eco-conscious choices don’t always come without compromise. Unlike some conventional adhesives, these eco-friendly dots are designed for easy removal, but they may require a little extra attention to leave your items perfectly polished. While this adds an extra step for you, it allows us all to make a more sustainable choice without compromising on quality or safety.

How to Remove Eco-Friendly Sticky Dots in Three Simple Steps

We’ve taken special care to ensure the removal process is as gentle as possible on your cherished items. Follow these easy steps for a clean, beautiful finish:

  1. Peel Gently – Carefully lift the sticky dot away from the surface. If it resists, use a soft touch to avoid leaving any residue.
  2. Remove Any Leftover Adhesive – If there’s any sticky residue left behind, apply a small dab of hand sanitiser or rubbing alcohol on a soft cloth, and gently rub the area.
  3. Discolouration - If discolouration persists, use a tiny dab of natural acidic liquid such as lemon or lime juice, on a soft cloth, to lift any spots without harming the ornament.
  4. Finish with a Polish – For a polished, pristine look, wipe the surface with a soft microfibre cloth.

Thank you for joining us in these small but meaningful steps – together, we’re creating a future where luxury and sustainability go hand in hand.
